On October 8, 2015, a little cutie was born. Accompanying the “Space Boy” into the vast cosmos, he embarked on a long journey of space exploration. With his gentle heart and brave spirit, he has healed and inspired countless people. He is the sparkling “Bling Bling Space Dog” loved by everyone. The Space Dog was created in 2015 by artist Han Yu, during a period when he was experiencing a creative low point in his painting career. In that moment of loneliness and vulnerability, he imagined a loyal, friendly, and soft companion — a little partner to accompany both himself and the Space Boy through their cosmic adventures. As China’s first space-themed designer dog figure, Puppy Tang has been loved and collected by fans since its debut in 2016 — not only across China, but also in the United Kingdom, France, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, the Netherlands, Ireland, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, as well as Hong Kong and Taiwan.
About the Puppy Tang Space Artist Collaboration Edition
In early 2019, AICHAILE (爱吃爱乐) launched the Puppy Tang Space Artist Collaboration Project, inviting outstanding artists and designers from around the world — each with their own unique creative style — to participate in customizing 14 cm Puppy Tang figures. Through these custom editions, both creators and fans have been able to explore each other’s artistic visions and appreciate diverse forms of beauty. To date, 30 artists from China, the United Kingdom, France, South Korea, Canada, Singapore, Mexico, and Venezuela have participated in the collaboration — and the project continues to grow, spreading the joyful spirit of Puppy Tang across the world.
