“A Gentle Breeze”
CIRCUS BOY BAND (CBB) is a designer brand founded in 2011 by Korean designers O Hyun-suk and Lee Jun-yong. Combining everyday experiences with imaginative visuals, they tell stories through illustration, graphic design, and product design. To them, life is like a circus — filled with joy, sorrow, and surprises — and their goal is to create products that evoke the same sense of wonder.
This exhibition at Seven and One-Fifth Art Space marks CBB’s first solo show in China, themed “A Gentle Breeze.” Presented through both artwork displays and an accompanying selection of merchandise, it offers visitors a refreshing and immersive experience — one where you can enjoy the exhibition and also take your favorite CBB creations home. Fans of CBB have long been drawn to the brand’s signature retro aesthetic, which naturally translates into a sense of familiarity and comfort. Just like a gentle breeze brushing through your heart, their works bring an instant sense of healing and warmth — the very essence and inspiration behind the designers’ creations.
As the early autumn wind brings a soft coolness to the air, CBB’s “gentle breeze” arrives to refresh the spirit — offering lightness, joy, and quiet delight to everyone it touches.
